Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs launches Digital Working Society Think Tank

Digitalization is prompting far-reaching changes and will also turn our world of work permanently upside down. That is increasingly prompting both employees and employers to ask how our working society will look in the future.

One answer to that question is supplied by the Digital Working Society Think Tank , which was opened on 12 October by Hubertus Heil (Federal Minister for Labor and Social Affairs). From now on, twelve experts will be looking to develop future scenarios. At the think tank they will draw up solutions to specific issues that tomorrow’s working society will face, in so doing actively addressing change. To encourage worldwide exchanges between scientists and pave the way for practical findings, international fellowship programs and future labs are also planned.
